St. Vincent's Hospital Emergency Power – Bridgeport, CT
Project included the installation of an emergency power system, rooftop generators, 15,000 gallon fuel tank, a containment piping system, and two new 13,800 full feeder circuits along with the new power distribution system the project affected numerous areas around the hospital, beginning with the installation of footings on the ground floor of the existing structure, installing, structural steel, up through four floors of occupied space, a structural steel platform above the fourth floor roof to support to 2 MW generators and a prefabricated substation. Road closures were coordinated with the city to facilitate the crane assembly. Project was started in June, 2004 and finished three months ahead of schedule in March, 2005.
